Jumping onto the rocker board is similar to jumping onto foam. The rocker board will shift more than the foam. It is recommended mastering the foam before jumping on the rocker or wobble board. Begin by jumping forward and backward on the rocker board. The second part of the exercise involves jumping side to side. At first begin jumping slowly and getting stabilized before jumping off. With improvement the exercise can be completed at greater speeds.
The exercises can become more difficult with incorporating weights or squatting when landing. A more difficult version of the exercise has a person jump onto the rocker board and then closes their eyes and maintains balance.
